About Me

I am a 32-year old data force of nature from Helsinki, Finland. I am a data & AI director in healthcare, transforming how patients and doctors utilise and provide care. I hold a PhD in Industrial Engineering for data-driven healthcare management and have published numerous articles on the subject. I am the founder and CEO of my own company, Emeno Oy. I have worked as a researcher at the European Space Agency in Noordwijk, Holland. On my free time I am writing my first book, Life without them - how innovations have shaped the human history.

I am a passionate video game geek, an avid hiker and snowboarder, and can cook a mean, authentic taco dinner. I love learning new languages, and can speak five. I am a father of one and a husband to my wonderful wife. I am a strong believer in the power of data and AI to transform the world for the better. I am always looking for new opportunities to both inspire and get inspired by others.

Colonies

An agent-based model for simulating economics and material supply chains between space colonies. Written in Python.

Football predictions

A tool for predicting world cup match outcomes. Updated for each major championship. Written with R + Shiny.

Satellar

A Python/C++ Reinforcement Learning platform for satellite operations deep learning training.

Game Development

Coded dozens of games in C/C++/CoolBasic since I was 10 years old, most unfortunately lost to time.

A command line tool for managing asynchronous Civilization 5 multiplayer.
